< b Zhaoqing University is a public, full-time comprehensive undergraduate university founded in 2007. It is located in Zhaoqing, a city in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province (km away from Guangzhou). Zhaoqing University was developed on the basis of the original Xijiang University and the original Zhaoqing Education College. The predecessor of the original Xijiang University was the Zhaoqing Normal School. It was decentralized to Xinxing County in Zhaoqing by the Guangdong Institute of Educational Administration in 2001. It was named after it. It is the only undergraduate school in Zhaoqing. The school has provincial key supported disciplines, school-level key disciplines, and school-level key supported disciplines. The provincial key supporting disciplines are: basic mathematics and modern and contemporary Chinese literature. Key disciplines at the school level: physical education and training, modern and contemporary Chinese literature, organic chemistry, and business management. The key disciplines supported at the school level are: Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Ancient Chinese Literature, Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Basic Mathematics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Computer Application Technology. The school currently has ten major disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management, and art. After graduation, students will be issued a Zhaoqing University graduation certificate printed uniformly by the state, and will be awarded a Zhaoqing University degree certificate after review by Zhaoqing University. The school is a public full-time comprehensive undergraduate university located in Zhaoqing, a city in the Pearl River Delta, Guangdong.
